CDL a Yard Driver/jockey
About the Role
CDL A Yard Driver/Jockey Yard driver's reposition company commercial tractors and trailers on designated non-highway
areas [the yard], including backing trailers to dock doors. It may be required to shuttle tractor/trailer to and from
logistic/lease companies. Shift: 8:00am-6:00pm. 5 days a week (weekends required - Saturday or Sunday will be one of the
5 days each week) Compensation: $22.00-$22.20 Moving and Operation of Tractor/Trailer Walk the yard to identify and
document vehicle defects. Communicate maintenance needs to Transportation Manager [Daily] Obtain tractor/trailer list
from Transportation, record odometer, hub readings, and engine hours from equipment, and send to lease company [Weekly]
