About the Role

School Vehicle Driver Instructor Administers the Carroll County Public Schools' MDOT driver candidate training, testing,

and certification program. Develops training programs for COMAR-required pre-service and in-service driver and assistant

training. Responsible for formal observations and evaluations of all school vehicle drivers (once every two years for

approximately 350 drivers). Designs and delivers specialized training for special needs and post-accident requirements.

Directs and administers the school vehicle driver training and certification program for the school system, ensuring

compliance with federal, state, and local transportation safety regulations while exercising discretion in program
